About Us
David and Renee Correll
David and I (Renee) live on 23+ acres on the top of beautiful Pension Mountain in Berryville, Arkansas.
We planted our first 750 lavender plants in the spring of 2021. We planted Grosso, Hidcote, and Munstead. We later added a dozen Phenomenal.
Our first summer we (mostly David) worked hard to trim all blossoms so the growth would go into developing a good root system.
In the spring of 2022 we added over 300 more plants (Phenomenal, Sensational, and Provence) to add to our varieties. The winter of ‘22 was not kind to us, and we lost almost 3/4 of our crop. That did not deter us, and we started again, and learned more about which plants survive best in our Arkansas winters. We are finding that our culinary favorites are Red Velvet and Munstead, so we are continuing to cultivate and add more of those, as well as adding more Phenomenal ™. We continue to have Grosso, Hidcote and Provence, but they don’t enjoy our Arkansas winters.
David is continuing to finish the barn to include a large storefront, classroom and drying shed. The inside is almost completed and we are open for shopping and classes. Check often for details on classess offered currently.
We are currently open only in the month of June when lavender is is bloom. Plan to visit us Wednesday-Saturday during June from 10-4. You can contact us via email: lalalavenderfarm@gmail.com or call Renee @ 870.423.8499 daily between 3:30 and 6:00pm.
This is the start of something beautiful!
“The color of springtime is flowers; the color of winter is in our imagination.”
